Vacancy Description:
A leading Telecommunications reseller and partner are looking to appoint a Project Engineer to perform installation and maintenance duties on client site, focusing on the Avaya ACM product portfolio and associated 3rd party LAN data products.
Main responsibilities: Working with Sales and Project Management teams to carry out project installations from post sale client meetings through to project completion, completing all required paperwork and design documentation
Working with Technical Support teams, attending client site or remotely accessing client maintained systems, to support, diagnose and resolve reported issues, including testing and diagnosis of 3rd party services and liaising with 3rd party suppliers
Person criteria: Essential
Current knowledge, including formal accreditation, and a minimum 4 years practical experience of:
* Avaya ACM platforms
*Avaya ACM peripheral applications
* Avaya Definity and associated applications
Excellent client facing skills and proven experience
Good knowledge of network service such as ISDN lines
Good LAN and WAN networking skills and experience
Competent understanding of IP networking and design
PC operating system and hardware skills
Previous experience at installing large multi site voice and data solutions
Ability to drive in the UK

Cisco CCNA or above
Other LAN hardware qualifications
Attended formal LAN training course

Salary: £29,000 to £37,000 pa DOE, Car allowance, Mobile phone, laptop, home working etc.
