Vacancy Description:
The Company: A leading technology business with a global market presence is keen to locate IT Workshop Engineers for their site south of Luton who have an excellent understanding/background in electronics or relevant qualifications in Electronics.
The Role: The successful applicants will assist in the repair, modification, refurbishment and maintenance of a large range of IT/EPOS hardware products handled by the workshop to component level efficiently and to the relevant quality standards, including Laser Printers, Tills, Touch Screen, EPOS, Barcode, PCs, and Laptops etc.
Good knowledge of electronics and PCB repair experience preferred. Additionally, you will assist the Workshop Supervisor and Junior Workshop Engineers as required.
The Person: Must have excellent IT hardware skills, Workshop experience, PC and component builds and refurbs, EPOS and Retail systems experience a bonus, as is soldering to component level. Additionally you will have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team, hard working and flexible in your approach to work. Quick learner, technical minded and outgoing.
Qualifications: City & Guild 2240 or 7261 or equivalent qualification/experience.
